Fuerteventura Airport

Fuerteventura Airport is located about 5 kilometers from the capital Puerto del Rosario, and is the most important gateway site. Each year, crowds of tourists arrive there by air.

Aeropoertuarios codes are: IATA, FUE, ICAO, GCFV. Its passenger terminal consists of 34 check-in desks and 10 gates. The arrivals area has 8 tapes to remove the luggage.

The airport is linked with other national and international airports. Direct connections with many cities in Germany, Italy, Spain and of course, in the latter case through airlines such as Spanair and Iberia.

It also has frequent flights to other islands in the region, such as Gran Canaria and Tenerife North, in which case the main airline Islas Airways.


When moving from there into the city, or vice versa, the primary options are the bus lines and taxis. The stops for both services are outside the terminal.

It also has car rental service, in charge of several of the most renowned companies worldwide.
